ok i'm sorry but i gotta complain about somehting

WTF with this weather? it's fuckin freezing, did somebody move the state of florida into canada? thats why i left NY.what happened to "its 10000 degrees in the shade"? I would take at least half of those degrees. it was even fuckin cold down in the caribbean,
hello al gore???
I mean i live in FLORIDa, and i gotta wear gloves, hat, scarf, 3 sweaters.
suewebb says that driving home from ft.lauderdale today she saw lots of alligators on the side of the road, they probably migrating to warmer weather, if there even is such a place.
godDAMN!!

I hear you on the weather Firefly.....I have lived in the Mountains of Western NC for 10 years now and our winters usually are 30 one day, 60 the next. Snow never stuck around longer than a day, always melted. But from what I am hearing from a few sources is that weather goes in cycles and we all have had it pretty mild the last 25-30 years and now a new cycle is beginning.....that would explain the snow that has stuck around in places since before Christmas and my temp gauge reading of 5 this morning. This is the weather I grew up in in Wisconsin......

Makes us all appreciate when the Sun Is Shining Down to warm our Earth.

:o)

thats crazy sunny(at least your name makes me feel warmer) , thing is that it is pretty extreme for florida, lots of farmers are losing their harvest, I don't even want to know about the orange groves, once the oranges freeze they no good. a man could lose everything he has on one bad coldspell.

that would truly be a shame for something like that to happen. I can't even begin to imagine how worried the farmers must be. We should all send some positive vibes their way.

I hate cold. And the farmers are screwed y'all. Unfortunately, south Fla supplies 90% of the Eastern Seaboard's produce in Jan and Feb. Hello higher veggie prices! We had sleet here Saturday and snow flurries about 25 miles north of us. I'd move but even Miami was 35 degrees.

It's 26 degrees at my house in Tampa right now. The umpteenth night in a row it's below freezing before midnight. I hate the cold.

I knew I should have listened to my mother. She said to go into either brain surgery or landscaping and what do I do? Neither. In a couple of months I'm sure gonna wish I had picked landscaping. Brain surgery wouldn't done no good for all these purty yards that have gone to shit over the past week.

I hate the cold.

we have gone thru more far wood in the last 3 weeks than we usually go thre awl winter......good thing Gregg just got himself a new Steele chainsaw....we have some oaks out there on the property he can cut up for warmth....

I don't mind the cold....one can get aclimated pretty easy, but I do not like this bitter cold we have been having....but it will sure make me appreciate the warmer weather when it arrives....we should get up into the 50's this weekend.....

Yes I've been meaning to email tox and get the official read on things. The cold devastated the snook population. I saw in the news where the state shut down snook fishing, I think for the whole year. That's gonna put some people out of work I'd imagine.
