For the shows out in California, my girlfriend and I were talking about how his hair was getting long. Was not sure if he was planning on growing it out or just waiting to get home before he gets it cut.

After the LA show, Art was pointing out to JJ that I was wearing the Front Porch Soul shirt. (Maroon with JJ and Daryl old school drawing on it, not available to buy anymore on the website or anywhere that I know of) Art was commenting on how old school it was. He noticed it during the concert, he pointed to me and said nice shirt during a song. He talked about how long JJ's hair was and that Daryl was smiling as well. Then JJ went on to tell us about how he designed that shirt with Dan Prothero as well as all the album covers and T-shirts. The night before I was wearing the Navy Blue Sunshine shirt which JJ said he designed as well. Maybe he's gonna grow it out again, but back then, he always wore a hat over it. He didn't wear one while in Cali, so who knows.

Plane touched down at 10:05pm Eastern Standard Time...
I'm loopy from the jet lag...but diggin' them MOFRO grooves! This was my first time ever traveling to California & how appropriate that it was to see MOFRO!
Giggles & I were planning on making the trek together, but it didn't work out that way. Good music, good times, good greens(it's california, so I'm guessin' they were organic) The band was smokin' & so was the crowd. I met great peeps from Jacksonville, Ft. Meyers & ALASKA!!!!
Everytime I see MOFRO...the fans are the best!

Thanks to MOFRO & all of y'all that made my trip special.

Back to lurk mode...
