There was an radio interview we missed yesterday. It was on WRLT Lightning 100 in Nashville and I didn't find out about it until it was long over. But the good news is that the station already has it archived. It's a great interview and included a new song!! First time he's ever played it in public, called "King Hummingbird." Oh man y'all it's a beautiful song. (He also played "Brighter Days.")
DT was right -- King Hummingbird needed his own thread. Yes, Clay, that is a beautiful song. It almost brought me to tears. It's intense! I needed that song in so many ways. JJ just lays his pain right out there for all of us to feel. What a special relationship we get to have with his music. How fortunate we are to be Mofro fans!
....amazing.......nothing left to say......ashley could not have said it better.
I only listened to Brighter Days. I thought that Gregg & I should listen to King Hummingbird together for the first time. Can't wait til he gets home...
is there anyway I can somehow get that version of Brighter Days on my iPOD? is it downloadable? ---------- "No effort, no gain No effort, stay the same No don’t you ever try to live a lie"
