Can't tell if it's the angle of the photo, but looks like Mr. Crabs is workin' a tall boy! A few 6-paks of 16oz Busch cans could make a Ken doll look crabby.
At least he's open to good music.

ahh my crabby would be a BLUE crab.. during mating season, they take over melbourne beach. There are hundreds of them trying to get from one side of the island to the other hoplessly trying to cross A1A to get to the beach to mate. So on the way they end up in your garages, your house, your pool or your dog's mouth...

I don't think it's a fiddler or a blue, but I'll tell you this: I've eaten it. Bigger than a fiddler, not equipt with the swimmers of a blue, at least as far as I can see. But I know for damn sure I bought a stringer of crabs that looked just like Morena's date in Trinidad (or Tobago, can't remember which for sure), and had a restaurant make a "curried sand crab" soup that kicked royal ass!
Best part was, the string that held them together came untied in the car, and there were about 30 fist-sized crabs crawling around the car while we zoomed from pub to pub throughout the night. A few escaped, which means we might be partying with Morena and a crab that I almost ate the weekend of my wedding (on one of those damn caribbean islands)...

ohhh tox, that is funny stuff. Ok everyone correction IT IS A BLUE LAND CRAB.. that's where the difference comes in LAND they are much bigger than blue crabs.
