Hey TN, Clay let me know that Shooter is closing the show in Tempe that I am going to, which is Dec 12th, the one directly after your SF show. For your sake, hopefully they are rotating those shows and you get Mofro closing since I got them sandwiched between J. Tyler and Shooter.

Mofro for life in Arizona The Rhythm Room is exactly that when the boys are kicking it here. "Walking on Moonlight in the Day."
TNC I talked to band mgt last week and that info should be posted on the mofro tour page in the next few days. I'll keep following up. DT's hypothesis is a good one.
lol!! ---------- "If you've never seen us before, don't be bashful - sing along from start to finish........and dance & feel good.....there's enough shit in the world, let it all out...........Brighter Daaaaays...."
I'll have you know that in times of old, purple was the color of royalty, since the dye was so very hard to come by and extremely expensive. Purple dye was produced from the mucus of the hypobranchial gland of various species of mollusks, it took approx. 12,000 shellfish to extract 1.5 grams of the pure dye. And as I waiting to speak to JJ after the show at the Engine Room in January, I heard a girl ask him what his favorite color was and he responded "Purple"......... at least I think that's what he said :p ---------- Well Behaved Women Rarely Make History
He had been drinking a lot of beer; as I recall he said "buuurp."
Uh, gigs, I have to enforce rules every now and then or people might post anything. We shall have no more discussion of mucus. If you ever say mucus again then no soup for you! And as for the "hypobranchial gland"...I think you made that up.
thank you Giggles!! I can now check off "learn something new everyday" off my list of things to do today. There is nothing wrong with the color purple in my opinion, not that it matters, lol.... ---------- "If you've never seen us before, don't be bashful - sing along from start to finish........and dance & feel good.....there's enough shit in the world, let it all out...........Brighter Daaaaays...."
....hey Mr. D it twas you that made the reference to seinfeld, was it not?
aynd..........He had been drinking a lot of beer; as I recall he said "buuurp." LMAO!!!!!!! ---------- "If you've never seen us before, don't be bashful - sing along from start to finish........and dance & feel good.....there's enough shit in the world, let it all out...........Brighter Daaaaays...."
Come to think of it it, maybe it was me when I said "slurp"!!
Can I say snot or phlegm in lieu of the "m" word?
From the Britannica Online Encyclopedia: anatomy of a mollusk......cavity and typically contains at least one pair of lamellate gills (ctenidia), a thick layer of glandular epithelium called......(since I can't say the "m" word I'll have to substitute)......... snot tracts or hypobranchial glands, and the outlets for the digestive, excretory, and reproductive systems ---------- Well Behaved Women Rarely Make History
If I let you say snot then people might come on and say things like pus and crud (as in creeping), and capillaries, and discharge (lawdamercy we ain't HAVING no discharge!) ---------- MofroFan1

Those are all great videos. Thanks to whomever taped them.
As for Purple being JJ's favorite, I got no problem with that, it happens to be mine as well. Color of Royalty, I'll take that too, seems fitting... haha
