Ok, this subject seems to come up enough to where I figured it needs its own thread. Clay, you might wanna add this to that nifty little dropdown menu up top. First off, for the newcomers and otherwise folks that aren't familiar. B&P stands for blanks and postage, ie: you send someone blank discs, and return postage, and they burn you shows of your choice and mail them back. The point is to make it easy for the person hooking you up to simply burn the show and walk out to the mailbox. No need for a trip to Best Buy or the post office. I posted this in the 1/3 Skippers DVD thread, but again, here is a site that explains the whole process VERY thouroughly. http://www.mcnichol.com/bnp/ Read that page in its entirety, it should answer any questions you have on B&P.

Now, here is a list of all of my completed videos on DVD. I'll gladly take B&P requests for any of these shows, now or any time in the future. Consider it an open invitation. Send me an email at skot_dee at hotmail dot com and I will hook it up. As I finish new shows, I will update this list.

4/7/06 - Gainesville - My first mofro video! A little rough around the edges as I was still figuring things out, but still a great vid all things considered

JJ Solo - 12/9/06 - Intimate acoustic show with JJ singing songs and telling the stories behind them. A real treat.

2/19/07 Skippers - My first Skippers show, one of the best I've ever seen still to this date. Eugene comes out during H&D and KILLS it.

8/17/07 Skippers - Almost as good as 2/19, another amazing show, again with Eugene in the H&D throwdown at the end.

9/2/07 - Blackwater Sol Revue I - While not nearly the elaborate job we did for BSR II, only one cam, shot from the crowd, still a great show. Complete throwdown at the end with the JC's and many more. Gotta Know!

12/30/07 - Freebird - SICK show with Grondin & the JC's special guests

8/30/08 - Blackwater Sol Revue II - 3-cam, you know the one, enough said. My best vid yet.

1/3/09 - Skippers - Another smokin skips show, quite a few mofrofans.com'ers in attendance and visible on this video. Hmm, never thought about it, but can we call users of this site "MF'ers" ;) Anyway, jump over to the thread and torrent currently active on this one for more details.

Thats it for now, but Im always working on more and now is no exception. Hopefully it wont take me 6 months to get this next one out :)

This is awesome skot! Yes, I'll add it to the dropdown for sure.

Do you think we ought to name this thread something else? I'm concerned that to the novice DVD B&P's might get glossed over as it moves down the board. Is it just me?

How about "Mofro DVD List/B&P Instructions" or something to that effect? I agree, needs a little punch.

A few months back I did the "B & P" with Skotee. I requested four of the DVDs I did not yet own. I have yet to watch any of them .......til tonight. I let my 5 year old pick one and he chose the 8/17/07 Skippers show. WOW!! Harps & Drums was just exhilerating and it amazed me how JJ just about never did stop smiling through out the entire song.....and man, could you just feel the energy meld thru the pores of the TV screen. I can only imagine what it must have felt like to be there, to harness that energy, and just let it all hang out!!

This show will not disappoint.

The subject of folks looking for vids & b&p's has come up a few times recently, I figured this could use a bump back up to the top. Also Clay, I can't find the link to this thread from the homepage anymore.

Regarding new videos, its true I've been draggin ass lately, been spending too much time on audio! Not to mention family and life gettin in the way :) But this is a new year, and I have renewed focus! Expect to see lots of goodies coming soon...

Thank you for bumping this back up skot. Y'all, wherever you are, whatever you're doing, stand up right now and give this man 3 cheers---

Hip hip
Hooray
Hip hip
Hooray
Hip hip
HOORAY

skot has a true dedication to our boys and to all of us. He videotapes every show he goes to now--has blanket permission from JJ--and he don't do it so he can sit at home and watch them. And it ain't cause he lives like a hermit or something cause he don't; he's got a wifey and child at home. He does it for all of us y'all, for anyone who enjoys Mofro. (And on top of all that he's a genuinely nice guy.)

Enuf of all that syrupy shit (to tell the truth he's a big fat dickhead). Y'all jump at his offer afore he tells us all to go buck a fuzzard.

(Almost forgot; I changed the title of this thread again so it's even more direct/clear than the one before.)

Oh yeah? Well, you're a big fat dickhead. (But I won't say it to your face cause you got a reach advantage on me, much less 20 years. I'm always nice to your face cause I don't want mine busted.) How bout Richard Cranium? Would that be more diplomatic?

A sharp volley back in Clay's direction...BAM!

Yeah some of the film got exposed but I'm processing it a second time. Then I have to have prints made. I may have to break out the ol air brush for some of them. Then I got to scan the prints, then upload them to the photo server. Gee skot, it takes time you know. This ain't future world or somethin.

Master Skotdee has about 7 or 8(?) performances of Mofro he has video taped. My personal fav is the 2 Blackwater Sol Revue. I think it is his best work!! All you have to do is sent him the blank(s) dual layer dvds and paid postage back to you. He will give out his email address for contact info. well worth the price!!!

do it
do it!!
