Seeding some older stuff, while working on some new. Very special show here. The second night of two solo acoustic shows JJ did at Cafe 11 back in December '06. Storytellin! Of particular note are Santa Claus & Jookhouse, featuring JJ using the loop. And the whole Jookhouse story is just priceless...

No prob Ash! I was surprised when I first posted it that no one grabbed a copy. I just figured nobody wanted to see an amazing intimate acoustic show with JJ playing his ass off and telling the stories behind classic mofro songs. No biggie ;)

I've heard this was an awesome coupla shows. Two reasons I think it hasn't been downloaded skot. First, I think the average folks that hit the site every day don't have the software/time/etc or don't feel comfortable with the whole torrent thing. The other is that some stuff just gets missed on the board for all sorts of reasons...sometimes it's the title, or that something gets bumped to page 2 or 3 too quickly, or whatever.

If you can send me jpegs of the cover art for any of these then I can put them up on the main msg board page with a link to the post...your cover art will definitely attract attention.

Scott -- for me, the time you posted this, I was pretty busy with life, plus I think a lot of stuff was posted all at the same time. I haven't had the space on my hard drive to download anything til now. I got a new 1 TB external drive, so I am trying to go back and download what I missed.

My download of this show is almost at a halt. Only one seed. Looks like it will take 8 wks!! Any other seeders out there?

"All I can say is that there's a sweetness here, a Southern sweetness, that makes sweet music. . . . If I had to tell somebody who had never been to the South, who had never heard of soul music, what it was, I'd just have to tell him that it's music from the heart, from the pulse, from the innermost feeling. That's my soul; that's how I sing. And that's the South."
