I so wish I was going to George's. Luckily, I have a job interview in New Orleans on the 19th, and the F'ville Mofro show is the 20th. I'll be enjoying the Mardi Gras festivities for a week, and hopefully will see Papa Mali too. I'll be missing y'all, and the band, of course. I love going to Fayetteville and George's. I always get a spot up close; and there is never any crowding or shoving. Ugh, can't believe I'm gonna miss it!

Hey there bperry...welcome to our little corner of the Mofro world. The majority of tapers are part of bretheren. They have a passion for taping and a passion for sharing. So, if I was betting, I'd put money on it.

Don't be a stranger!

You're a good man, Charlie Brown.....heh heh! Yeah, I know she's been in NOLA since last week...I got here on Papa Mali's guest list for the Tips show. She had posted on here earlier in the week that she didnt know if she'd make it to the Lunde Gras show and offered to let you borrow her equipment to tape. Give her a holler and tell her she defintely needs to make this show too....or get her tape gear to you somehow. Oh, how was the show at Tips with Malcolm, Mooney and Porter?

Thanks for the Welcome MOFROFANS1, I have been a MOFRO fan since 2006 and seeing JJ open up Jamcruise 5 with Luther from NMA and Stanton Moore, it was a great way to get things going. I got to see MOFRO for the New Years Eve Show at Freebird live this year, fun to see them rock the home town crowd out. I can't wait for Wakarusa and some more MOFRO!!

Mardi Gras is so crazy, it's tough to coordinate with anyone! I'm just glad I survived. I am sick as a dog, though.

Dweezy, thanks for the update from the F'ville show! I'm sure it was fabulous!

I hear ya, ashley....so much to do, so little time. Mardi Gras is like Jazz Fest, you just have to remember it's a marathon and not a sprint!
