OK folks here it is... Several folks have been asking about Mofro DVD's, well this one is by far the best recording, both audio & video, that I've ever been a part of. Im gonna re-seed all the other vids after this, but they don't come close to this one. 3 cams, stage access, sbd patch, this is where its at. Get on it. Thanks again to JJ, Jesse & Danny for allowing us to do this and making the entire thing possible. Big thanks also to Clay for the photography.

I put some serious hours into this one ya'll, hope you enjoy!

I like that, giggles. I need an eternal hard drive too! I actually don't have enough room on my computer to DL this right now. And that's AFTER I have already moved so many files to an external drive. I'll need to figure out a solution. How long do I have to DL it?

Scott, you and your crew are simply awesome, as well as everyone else who has been a part of it -- Clay, John Dude, and especially the band and their people. Mofro fans are the luckiest fans alive.

Hahaha! Ash, I came home from my mini FL vacation with bronchitis. I've been so sick I can barely hold my head up right, let alone type with any accuracy:P I must say though, I do like the idea of an eternal hard drive....lol:P

First of all, Thank you thank you Skotdee for all your hard work, I am VERY thrilled to one day see your piece of art. Second of all, I am a newbie when it comes to downloading things like this. I prefer to try and figure it out on my own before asking for assitance. Well, I was able to download the "torrent" and the size is 39kb. I understand how the seeder/leecher relationship works. Now that I have it saved, does anyone have the time and patience to give it to me in laymen's terms? If not, is there a "downloading torrents (?) for dummies" out there.

Thank you to anyone in advance!!

Hi Sunshine-
Barely out of “DVD newbie torrenting" status myself...but I will say the files should have ended up being more like 7.5 gigs (kb’s are tiny)- so I don’t think you downloaded everything- I have high speed access and it took me almost 2 full days to d/l everything

beautiful job BTW Skot

I actually know this answer, (I believe) that you should keep your time on your torrenting software for about 2 weeks. And yes it helps others and if you take it out too soon, you are "looked down upon), for a lack of proper lingo.........

Thanks Kimberly, I thought 39kb was too small. I guess I will have to try to "re-download".

You should stay connected until you've uploaded as much as you've downloaded. The Mofro BSR II DVD is 7.72 GB so you would want to stay on until you've uploaded atleast 7.72 GB.....but it's always nice to share more! ;)

Like Stan said, stay on until you upload as much as you downloaded, or until you have a 1.0 ratio. Meaning, you've put up what you've pulled down, or 1:1

Sunshine, the file you downloaded that was 39k, is the torrent file. That is the file that you open, with a bit torrent program, that allows you to connect to the seeders to actually download the show. Basically thats just the key to open the chest, so to say...

There's gotta be a "bit torrent 101" type of page out there somewhere that can explain it all better than I can, let me see what I can find.

try this: http://www.dessent.net/btfaq/
and this: http://www.bittorrentguide.co.uk/torrentguide.html

Its not as complicated as it seems, but its damn hard to explain in simple terms. Could be the handful of Beam & Cokes I've had tonight as well. Happy Friday!

Thanks folks, glad ya'll like it! Don't think I'll make it to the Peel Sunshine, but I am gonna try & make it to Savannah...

Dweezy, download VLC media player here: http://www.videolan.org/ and go file > open directory, and navigate to the VIDEO_TS folder in the main folder you downloaded. If you want to burn it to DVD, you will obviously need a DVD writeable drive, in this case dual layer, with a dual layer dvd+r disc... There are many burning software apps that will burn dvd from a VIDEO_TS folder. I recommend ONES
