so both nights were excellents as expected........tonight in austin was extra special as John Popper from Blues Traveler came on to play the harp for Ho Cake and Got my Mojo Workin'.......also on Ho Cake a special performance by an unkown sax player, sorry i didnt recognize him and had a few to drink. i apologize for not taking note of the set list for anyone that cares but i was just chillin enjoying the night, i do know that for my back to back nights the setlist of Dallas and Austin were nowhere close to the same besides a couple of songs (lochloosa, war, OB...to name a few).....JT & Northern Lights brought it in the opening act, lots of energy, the crowds for both nights were great, i was able to take some first timers and they were blown away and in love now i think...anyways just giving my 2 cents

and one side note: no piano for JJ either night, but didnt skip a beat.

Daaaaaamn! What a show that must've been. THANK YOU LEE for taping it and bringing it to us. When I heard Popper sat in I was sure hoping there was a taper. And thanks dweezy for laying down how the evening went, very nice. And for the pics.

I was at the Dallas show but didnt take note of a setlist, i got there late during the first song(due to traffic and a long drive), i think JJ was having trouble with his voice, it kinda went out on a couple notes and didnt sound as strong as normal, it wasnt bad by any means, and i noticed the next night in austin he was drinking something i assumed was to help it. also seemed like they were having problems with the sound levels and volumes getting adjusted. still a great show and sold out. we need some dallas lurkers to speak up since i failed on getting a setlist for everyone. there are a few videos posted on youtube not by me though.

The keys were absent from this and the Austin show

as for the Austin show, as you read, John Popper sat in, and Not only were the fans given a treat, JJ and the boys also seemed to really enjoy it, big smiles and seemed to have a blast.

pretty sure he was drinking some Maker's. thats what he asked for at the Greenville in-store. said it helps his voice when it starts getting hoarse.
