Congrats to you and the entire family, Swamp Cracka!!! The wife and I just had our 2nd (my 3rd) in Sept. Hope your baby girl brings you all the joy and happiness mine have brought me!!

Nothing like having a really crappy day at work only to come home and have one of your kids wrap their arms around you and tell how much they love you.....makes you forget immediately the day you had!

Awesome news SwampCracka. Glad everyone's well. 115 decibels huh? Isn't that somewhere around the level that'll break glass? A birthing tub and no drugs? Damn. Makes me even MORE glad I got a penis and never had to go through something like that.

Thanks for coming on to share your news with us!

Yep - she's doing well and everyone is enjoying her. Crazy thing is that she was named after her great-grandmother who passed this morning. I guess at 99 years old, she felt it was time to let someone else carry the torch.

Any suggestions for Mofro songs to sing to her as lullabies? I was thinking "Mississippi", "Lochloosa", "Pray For Rain", "Brighter Days"......

King Hummingbird.

Sorry to hear about your grandmother; you're right, it's kinda cool that she hung on until her namesake/great grandchild was born.

Condolences on the passing of your grandmother. Gotta Know and King Hummingbird for your lullabies.
