The first 2 shows are openers for Galactic.
The 3 March shows are JJ solo.
The April show is, HEY, WAITAMINUTE, THAT'S IN TAMPA BAY!!!

Hey Clay, I don't know if you noticed or not, but that Smokin' In The Park in California that we talked about is on the website tour schedule as well, so looks like it is a definite. That's for the 17th of October if I remember right.

Cool - a South Florida date. Back in August of 2003 I had never heard of Galactic or Mofro. Then there was a concert in Boca - headliners were BB King & Jeff Beck. Opening acts were Galactic & Mofro. Been a fan of JJ & the boys ever since.

Nice to see the Ft Liquordale date, but wish it was just a Mofro show. Maybe we'll get lucky and Galactic will open.....as it should be!!!

actually It would make more sense for them to play ft. laud and than HoB ,not the other way around, since they will be just stepping of the boat

you know those 2 bands will play decent size sets, its not gonna be like 40min mofro opener like for DTB, plus the sit-ins !!!

AMEN TO THAT BROTHAS AND SISTAS! Goddam this is great. Galactic is awesome.
It is a screwy schedule. Could be the only date HOB had open. But for Stan it's great! FINALLY Stan!!
One venue is curiously missing that's usually on the early Jan sched: Skipper's. Of course they don't have the New Year's run up yet either so I guess more is yet to come!

Well, I can't speak so soon but I will! I am in for the FL shows...I mean that's a week before my birthday in January.
I already requested the days off. I have copies just incase it falls through again. lol.

Not that I've heard Junior. But no news is good news I s'pose. There's a big ol hole in their sched for Nov and Dec. I'll keep fingers crossed that they plug it with a Boston show!

I forgot to mention this earlier - Thou I am excited that JJ is coming to Ft. Lauderdale, I AM NOT thrilled with the venue. Revolution has an extremely strict camera and recording devices policy (SIMPLY NOT ALLOWED) - Check the FAQ on their website. And a friend of mine who is a photographer for a publication confirmed this and stated you can only get a photo pass if for a valid print magazine or music/press website. Not very friendly. But, I will still go. What are ya going to do?

sofladave, I taped Umphrey's Mcgee and Disco Biscuits at the Rev.
They do allow cameras, and recording equipment. You just have to be cool with the staff. They have tapers on a short leash there.

I know they used to allow taping as John Dude taped the late night Mofro set there during Langerado a few years ago and another friend taped The Grass is Dead also.

Yep, Giggles I can confirm that Dec 10 date in San Fran. I can't confirm anything else, but if I lived out on the west coast I'd probly keep my eye out. Just before the 10th I'd probly keep my eye out to the north, like into another state(s)? north maybe. That's probly what I'd do. After the the 10th, I mean, just geographically it seems like they'd go south. Just seems logical I guess. But maybe that's just me.

Hey...when did they add the 10/25 VClub show in Huntington (been there, great town), and the Jew Ma in Va Bch on 10/27 to the sched?
ALSO, for them's/us'ns in Fla, didja notice the new notes put up? Galactic is going to open HOB Orlando and JJG & M WILL CLOSE. (In Ft. Laud it's the other way.) I was wrong! And I love it!!
