Good Morning KGinSC! Since this here show is in your neck of the woods, do you (or anyone else) know of an affordable hotel with in like 10-15 minutes. No need to be in crawling distance as we are taking our kadiddles to see the Boys play. We have never been to Greenville (cept the airport)and are unfamiliar with its layout. Thanks in advance for anyone's information.
:o)

Sunshine:
I work for a hotel chain and can get you discounts. We got a discount for the evening of 10/9 for the show, the property is about 1.5 miles away. Email me at smrine@hotmail.com if you would like the details on how to book.
Thanks!

Can't wait for this show! Looking forward to it as it has been a few months since I have seen the boys. I think you will enjoy Greenville. This festival does get EXTREMELY packed though so be ready to deal with a crowd. Always good times though. The Lee Boys are playing Saturday night as well at 7PM on the BB&T stage. I suggest getting there a little early and checking out Mac Arnold and a Plate Full Of Blues at 3:30. Good Stuff!

And if you are looking for some local talent you can wander on down to Oysters On The West End and check out my band ;) *ya that was a self plug!*

Check out http://www.fallforgreenville.net/whattodo.html#listen_ for a listing of all the shows.

Can't wait for next weekend!

We should arrange it and MF MOFRO FAN will be there too as she helped me to get sum good hotel reservations. My sister Sunset will be there as well. Not sure if they allow lawn chairs or not, cuz I would have mine up front to secure my position!!

"Please - no pets, coolers, bicycles, lawn chairs, inline skates or skateboards within the festival site. This is a smoke-free event via the City of Greenville special event permit guidelines."

Unfortunately no chairs allowed :( I am surprised at that though, usually people bring them for the 4th of July festival. Oh well my little ass will fight up to the front! We will definitely have to meet up. I am bringing a first timer so I am excited to see what she thinks!

Getting closer and closer y'all. Good to hear from you briggzz! Haven't heard from you in a while. Hope you and your kin are doing well.

Sounds like y'all got a helluva group building to represent us all in Greenville. You'll all enjoy meeting one another. It was fun in Ybor meeting one of our newest...KGinSC. She's got an energy and a love for Mofro that rivals the best of us!

This Fall for Greenville article in GreenvilleOnline.com just went up today.

I have been lurking for a while on the board Clay, I am never too far away! Kin is doing well. There have been some ups and down with my dad. He battled the cancer away but has come upon new heart issues. BUT the man refuses to give up. I think he may be even tougher than that damn Stack-a-Lee! True story from just earlier today. I was driving my dad up to the store and he said "play some of that Mofo stuff you are always talking about" hahhahah I had to laugh and then just hit play on the cd that was already loaded. Looking forward to the show and meeting some new fans and I am bringing 8 count em 8 first timers!

I can't quite imagine my 82 year old father asking me to play him some Mofro. That's cool briggzz. He sounds like he's got grit. Hope things improve for him. I too know how stressful it can be on the family.

The show this week will hopefully provide some much needed stress relief! Oh. You didn't tell us. Did you're dad like it?

Oh he loved it! After I corrected that it was Mofro and no Mofo we settled into the recording of the show from the Orange Peel from March of this year. He loved the horn/harp/organ battle in Junior! I'm trying to convince them to come out and see the show Friday night. Would be a perfect opportunity for them to get their first experience!

Not sure how this will work, I haven't been to Fall for Greenville in a few years, but I think they had chairs setup near the stage. I could be completely wrong. I think the seating area is in the street so a blanket may not help. They have a list of things not allowed on the FAQ page (http://www.fallforgreenville.net/faq.html)

KGinSC and I have talked about meeting up at Barley's Pizza (http://www.barleystaproom.com/greenville/) before the show. They have about 60 beers on tap and are 3 blocks up and one down from the BB&T stage.
