GimmeThatDrop - I have them, Gimme (ha) a little time and I will post them for you, both album version and live version. I will probably start a new topic so we can get a thread going of Harp Tabs. Man, I'm excited now, I have all the songs tabbed out, now I can work on tabbing out the Harp. I can play along with all of them so I have them, just need to turn them into text on here. Harmonica's and JJ's music, now we are talking about my kinda stuff!

Briggz - Lochloosa is in the key of G, so you play a C Harp (Cross Harp). I will post the tabs soon and you'll be able to pick it up from there pretty easily.

Draw on the 4 to get started and try a Draw on the 5 down to 4 and 3 then blow the 3 and see what happens. From there you will hear something that to me is magical.

For tabbing, use a regular number as blow so 3 means blow the 3. And the - sign represents draw, -3 means draw the 3.

So on the C harp play -5 -4 -3 3 and see how that sounds.

Enjoy, I will post the tabs on a new thread.

Gimme that Drop, this is what I have and will post on the Harp Tab thread as well. I think you are making it harder than it really is with your version. But check it out and let me know what you think.

Lochloosa (Album Version)

C Harp

+5 -5 +5 -5 . . . . -4 4 . . . .

-4 . . . . -4b -3 . . 3 -3 . .

(23) . . . . -3 . . .-2 . -1 as you fade off*

6** . . . . Pause (34) . . -4 . .

4 -4 -5*** . . . -4 -3 3 . -5 -4 -3 3 .

-5 -4 -3 3 . -5 -4 -3 3 -3 3 . .

JJ uses Vibrato pretty much throughout so play along by doing so and you will get the feel for it.

*Just slide down slowly like JJ does at the end of his live versions.
**Uses kind of a warble or crescendo here, get louder then softer before the pause.
***On here, since you can’t bend the 5 draw, I kinda use the crescendo like on the 6 or just in a sense turn the harp pulling it a little bit from the right to left away from my lips before dropping down. Or another thing is to kind of roll your head like you are slowly saying no. I know it sounds weird, but you kind of echo the 5 draw since you can’t bend it. Never heard anything like this before with this note except for what JJ does here on Lochloosa.
